Another beautiful February day in Downtown Vermillion! We are officially on the homestretch to spring with only February and March in our way.
Take the opportunity to walk around downtown, do some window shopping and walk the bike paths just south off Dakota Street below the hill!
There’s lots of things to do this weekend: gallery shows, basketball games, movies…after your events, come downtown and have a coffee or glass of wine or a nice dinner.

Red Earth Co-op to open in late March or early April!
Prairie Sun Organics at 108 E Main Street in Downtown Vermillion is undergoing a restoration/remodel and will reopen in late March or early April as Red Earth Coop. The facility will be a member owned, community managed grocery store offering wholesale and retail local, organic, and healthy foods from our region and beyond.
There will also be an 800 square foot commercial kitchen and light agricultural processing center, which will be the first of its kind in South Dakota! Look for a photos of the progress on downtownvermillion.com soon.
Wynie Mae’s announces new stylist and Shellac nails!
The Spa at Wynie Mae’s is proud to announce the arrival of new stylist Amy Schultz! Amy is running an introductory special of a color, haircut and style for only $65! Amy is at Wynie Mae’s Mondays and every other Saturday.
